Chief Executive Officer, Co-Owner
Hank founded DFTBA with Alan Lastufka in 2008. He's perpetually starting new things...some of them have done quite well, including Vlogbrothers, EcoGeek.org, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Crash Course, SciShow, Subbable, and VidCon. When he's not doing those things, he's making music with his band, Hank Green and the Perfect Strangers.
Chief Operating Officer
A former journalist and hostel owner, Dave lives on a small farm in Missoula with his wife Heather and two children. His favorite things include pub trivia, running, Settlers of Catan, the Boston Red Sox, and working with so many smart and inspiring people in the ever-expanding Vlogbrothers universe.
Caenaan has called Montana home for over 20 years and is a lover of all things that Missoula holds sacred, including good beer, good music and the outdoors. Other things that keep Caenaan awesome: his golden retriever, Maizey; rooting for the San Francisco Giants and playing sousaphone with his brass band.
Rachel loves all things creative. She went to art school in Chicago and grew up in L.A. When she is not managing projects, she paints and photographs, writes comics, sews her own clothes, and runs an alternative art gallery called Fathom Space.
Meg is originally from Florida, she has an extensive background in working with clients as an independent artist and customer service in many different environments. She moved to Missoula, MT from New York City to be closer to the mountains and wildlife that inspire her art, and she is happy to call it home.
Head Warehouse Operative
Jamie is the second born of eight hilarious kids that all get along. She's lived in many places like South Dakota, Hawaii, and Colorado but Montana seems to have her heart. When she's not tuned into a podcast and packing orders, Jamie can most likely be found hiking, basking in the sun, and drinking tea.
John Green is a co-owner of DFTBA Records, the other half of the vlogbrothers, and a #1 New York Times bestselling author of four books, including The Fault in Our Stars. In 2014, he was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. John lives in Indianapolis with his wife Sarah and two children.
Alan founded DFTBA with Hank Green in 2008. For the first few years DFTBA was run out of his house, later expanding to his garage before the company was ready for a real warehouse. Alan is a designer, a writer, and a musician. In 2014, Alan sold his stake in DFTBA and resigned as President of the company to pursue other creative endeavors.
