No matter what, we always got together with my dad’s side of the family on Christmas Eve. This was the loud Italian side.  My dad and his two brothers would sing Christmas songs (using mostly made-up words) and me and my cousins would scream the 12 Days of Christmas.

It didn’t matter who was fighting, or not getting along, or grumpy as balls; tradition said “you guineas get together and laugh” and we did. That doesn’t happen anymore. My uncle and my grandfather have passed away and I moved to L.A. like a little bitch to chase my dreams.

It didn’t happen often but I was always thankful when it did. I had the best Christmas every year because it always started with laughing my ass off with my family. That’s why I think it’s important to laugh on Christmas Eve and that’s why I’m releasing this standup thing.

Watch it with your family if they aren’t all funny enough already. If your family IS funny, kiss them for me and have a Merry Christmas all year.

Special thanks to Tom Bosko, Isaac Loftus, Kevin Plachy and Open Space.

Making Friends was filmed throughout 2018 at the Open Space Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
